Counselling

"People become engaged in counselling when a person occupying regularly, or temporarily, the role of counsellor, offers or agrees explicitly to offer time, attention and respect to another person or persons temporarily in the role of client.
The task of counselling is to give the client an opportunity to explore, discuss and clarify ways of living more resourcefully and towards greater well-being"
Definition by B.A.C. (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)

After a client has discovered, through hypnotherapy, the past roots of present day problems then often they want to discuss the implications for them now.

Clients find it very useful for sessions to be a combination of hypnotherapy and counselling so that they can work out for themselves how to best live their new way of being.
